Welcome to the website of tim Lynch, The Clay Man. I have been a potter for twenty years and continue a family tradition started by my grandfather, Everett Lynch, Tonasket WA, 1898-1988. I make functional, useable pottery, as did my grandfather. It is meant to be used. It is hand crafted, mostly porcelain but some stoneware items are available also. Items displayed on this site are not yet for sale. I’m working on a Store page. Please browse through my work and enjoy.

Making pottery is what I do best. I like to work in an Asian tradition with a bit of the Pacific Northwest thrown in. I live in East Wenatchee, WA, with my two lovely daughters, five chickens, one Border Collie, two cats, and soon, two alpacas. My studio is on my property and I am current selling in three galleries within 60 miles of East Wenatchee. I teach English and Social Studies at Westside High School’s Night Program. It is the alternative school for the Wenatchee School district. I have worked there for almost 19 years. I love my students.

Drop me an email if you are coming to the area. I would be happy t show you my workplace and look through the pots on the shelf.
